Purpose: Explore nature by collecting rocks and creating beautiful art piece! These Rock art can be used to tell a story, counting, sorting and creating fun games.
Adult help and supervision is needed.
Collect rocks, wash and dry them.
Spread clean rocks onto a foil - lined cookie tray and put them in the oven at 180’c to heat up.
Once rocks are hot, transfer them onto a protected surface.
Choose your crayon and place it on the rock. The crayon melts over the surface of the hot rocks and creates a smooth, vibrant, colourful coating that hardens into a waxy shell.
Design swirls, dots, stripes or anything else.

Extension - Make a Rock Mandala to enhance creativity, play Tic Tac Toe, build tall towers or hide them in your garden for others to find.
