  • Sticky notes

  • Pen/texta

What you'll learn in this activity 

Ages: All ages

Purpose: Connecting with family and friends while learning about where we all live in the world.

Let's play!

  1. Find your map  - It can be a map of Victoria, Australia or even the world?

  2. Talk about the important people in your lives and where they live on the map. They can be family, friends or even places you have visited.

  3. Mark the spot on the map with your texta or sticky note and talk about why this person or place is so special.

  4. Can you Facetime or call and talk with them or write and send them a card or letter?

  5. If it is a special place you could do some internet searching to find out more.

Extension - Find pictures to cut out and stick onto your map. Look at the different towns or countries and talk about distance and time to travel from 1 place to the next
