Are you great at fixing stuff? The Chirnside Park Repair Cafe is seeking community members who are keen to join the repair team and build on the types of repairs available. Commitment is two hours once a month, and your skills would be invaluable to our community.

Repair cafes are the result of a global movement to keep items in use and out of landfill. Today, there are over 2,500 repair cafes worldwide where visitors bring their broken or damaged items for free repairs. Cafes are run by volunteers with expertise in many areas, who are more than happy to share their skills and knowledge.

We'd especially like to hear from people with the following skills:

- Bicycle repairs

- Electrical repairs: qualified electrician, electrical engineers

- Clock and watch repairs

- Leather goods and jewellery

- Shoe and bag repairs

- Knife and tool sharpening

- General handyperson skills

- Sewing machine repairs and maintenance

- 3D printing

- Crochet and knitting repairs

- Book binders

- Any other repair skills that would assist!

So, if you are enthusiastic, reliable and skilled, we want to hear from you!
