Council can provide assistance to local businesses and commercial property owners to incorporate more sustainable practices into a diverse range of workplaces.

Business Energy and Water Saver Kit
Business Energy and Water Saver (MEWS) kits can help you to save money and reduce emissions by improving your business’ water and energy efficiency. Business MEWS kits are available to borrow for free at selected community links across the Yarra Ranges. These kits include an instruction booklet containing information specifically designed for businesses to increase their water and energy efficiency.

Energy Saver Program
Yarra Ranges Council is part of the Energy Savers program, which aims to help businesses save money and reduce emissions by providing access to appliances and equipment that are subsidised by the State Government under the Victorian Energy Upgrade Program. These products include:
- Solar and batteries
- Hot water heat pumps
- Split system air conditioners
- LED lighting upgrades
- Energy efficient fridges, freezers, ventilation fans and motors and more
